“I was at fault to tackle from intellectual curiosity too great a variety of scientific interests”
Alexander von Humboldt
Hi! My name is David and I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with the McGeoch Research Group at La Trobe University as part of the ARC funded Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future Special Research Initiative. I am working on taking a biodiversity informatics approach to studying the status and trends of Antarctic biodiversity. I also am actively involved in the environmental policy space, both in developing indicators for tracking invasive species and as a member of the Ecological Society of Australia policy working group.
